I have trained with Louise Keet, author of The Reflexology Bible and principle of the London School of Reflexology to offer Fertility, Pregnancy & Natural Labour Reflexology.

Reflexology can be a wonderful treatment to try if you are struggling to conceive naturally but also alongside IVF/Assisted Conception. I have many ways of working that I can use to aid you through this journey.

 

Many women struggle to conceive naturally or easily and for some, the journey is longer and requires additional support. Fertility reflexology aims to help restore the body's natural balance and create the perfect environment within the mind, body and spirit to conceive.

Reflexology for Pregnancy

Reflexology in pregnancy is a wonderful treatment, giving you some time in a tranquil, soothing environment to enjoy some time to focus on yourself and your growing baby. Reflexology helps to optimise your physical and emotional health by working on specific reflex points on the feet to give relief from many pregnancy symptoms such as insomnia, nausea, indigestion, pelvic girdle pain, lower back pain and constipation.

 

It is a great treatment to ease any stress and anxiety which can be very common during pregnancy. It can also help to prepare the body for labour.  

 

Reflexology can be received after your first trimester through to post-natal time. 

 

Research has shown that receiving regular reflexology during pregnancy helps with minor pregnancy ailments and the effects of reflexology on labour outcomes can be outstanding. A group of first time mothers who received 10 reflexology treatments leading up to the birth of their babies had an average labour time of between 5-6 hours as opposed to the average of 16-24 hours.
